Jared Iraggi
Co-Founder & Lead General Contractor
Jared Iraggi is the Executive Director of Haywood Habitat for Humanity, where he leads the organization’s work to expand affordable homeownership, critical home repair, disaster recovery, and housing advocacy in Haywood County.
He graduated from the University of Delaware in 2008 where he studied biology and philosophy, developing an early interest in bioethics and the intersection of human dignity, public policy, research, and care. He went on to earn his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2013, focusing on health law and bioethics.
After a brief career in law, Jared moved to Western North Carolina about a decade ago and became a carpenter and builder. That hands-on experience in construction eventually led him to Haywood Habitat for Humanity, where he first served as Construction Manager before becoming Executive Director in 2025.
Jared also serves on the board of Haywood Pathways Center, where he has served both as a board member and past board chair. In 2026, he partnered with local home inspector, and soon to be contractor, Ellyse Trethric hoping to bring the vision of a compassionate community care home to Haywood County. He is a father, husband, community leader, and advocate for housing, service, and compassionate end-of-life care.
Ellyse Amelia Trethric

Ellyse Amelia Trethric is a licensed property inspector and soon-to-be general contractor based in Waynesville, NC. Since 2023, she has completed more than 500 home inspections throughout the mountain region, helping homeowners and buyers better understand their homes and make confident, informed decisions for their families.
With a background that extends well beyond home inspections, Ellyse has served as CEO, COO, and Project Manager for multiple multi-million-dollar companies. Her experience leading businesses, managing complex projects, coordinating teams, and maintaining high standards brings a unique level of professionalism and attention to detail to every home she evaluates.
Ellyse believes that truly understanding a home requires more than simply checking boxes on an inspection report. It takes a trained eye to recognize what is a genuine concern, what is routine maintenance, and what may become a problem down the road. Her commitment to excellence and her pursuit of perfection carry through to every client she works with.
Since beginning her inspection career, Ellyse has built a reputation for finding what others may overlook, accessing areas others may not, and providing comprehensive reports that give clients a clear understanding of their home. Her work is backed by more than 40 five-star Google reviews.
Ellyse is also deeply invested in the community she calls home.
She is actively involved in local events, nonprofit initiatives, fundraising efforts, and programs focused on improving the lives and homes of people throughout the region. Her passion for community extends into her professional work, where she believes better homes contribute to stronger, healthier communities.
Outside of work and community involvement, Ellyse enjoys farming, hiking, cooking, painting, ceramics, and spending a snowy day with a good book and a cup of tea.
